The objective of this five day, hands-on course is to explain the protocol for digital diagnosis, prosthodontic and periodontal planning in different scenarios of patients which will require full-arch implant supported therapy, achieving ideal emergence profiles and a highly esthetic prosthesis, meeting the needs of the most demanding patients. Each doctor participant will bring their own patient from their practice as well as an assistant to assist them.
Detailed Objectives:
Understand a step by step process for proper diagnosis and prosthetic selection.
Determine the key steps in reverse engineering full-arch implant therapy.
Learn important considerations for selecting patients in which additional osseous and mucogingival approaches can be made to enhance the prosthetic environment.
Learn to digitally plan a guided surgery for immediate implant placement and loading with a highly aesthetic milled PMMA temporary restoration.
Compare guided surgery with traditional surgery and understand its indications.
Understand the advantages of the digital vs analog protocol when making the interim restoration and the final prosthesis.
Understand the limitations and complications of this technique.
Understand how to apply mucogingival procedures simultaneously with guided surgery and immediate loading.
Learn the proper management of the emergence profiles, and their transfer to the definitive prosthesis.
Understand the importance of periodontal and prosthodontic maintenance for the long-term success of the rehabilitation.
